Halal Standard Management, a tool and mechanism of an effective development of halal assurance management system, focuses on minimizing and eliminating the non-conformance of halal requirements.

The emphasis of the Halal assurance management system is done via the identification of Halal Critical Points (HCP) within the entire supply chain with constant control, monitoring and verification that include:

  • effective products recall procedure;
  • effective documentation to enable traceability;
  • proper filing system for halal applications, documents, procedures, and records, which shall be made
  • available for audit by competent authorities.

The Halal Standard Management will provide an adequate and continuous training for its users or members as well as relevant parties on the halal standards and certification requirements. Periodic assessments shall be conducted to ensure relevant employees have been trained with sufficient knowledge to effectively deliver their roles and responsibilities.
